The train does the route Ibarra - Salinas - Ibarra. It is a very scenic route that crosses the interandean valley, tunels, and several deep canyons. It is very exciting for train lovers! 

For teenagers younger than 18 years old, handycapped and senior citysens, there is a 50% discount over the tarif.

You must reserve several days in advance your tickets, by making a deposit or money transfer to the Train Company bank account.
